Bridgerton Star Luke Thompson Reveals the Scene He Loved Filming Most in Season 4

Fans of Bridgerton have been talking a lot about Season 4, especially because it closely follows the book An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn. This season focuses on Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, and his romantic love story with Sophie, played by Yerin Ha.

Many viewers were excited to see big moments from the book come to life. The masquerade ball, where Benedict meets the mysterious Lady in Silver, was one of the most talked-about scenes. The emotional lake scene also became a fan favorite.

But surprisingly, Luke Thompson says his favorite moment to film was something different.

In an interview with TV Insider, Thompson shared that he really loved filming the carriage sequence. In Episode 3, Benedict drives Sophie through the rain to My Cottage, and later, they leave the countryside in a tense and emotional moment.

Thompson said he enjoyed the scene because of the strong emotions between the characters. He also liked the simple joy of riding a real horse and carriage. He explained that the scene felt very powerful and true to the book.

Another important part of Season 4 happens at My Cottage, where Benedict recovers from an injury. During this time, he and Sophie grow much closer. Thompson said that filming inside Benedict’s bedroom felt almost exactly how he imagined it when he first read the novel. That made the experience even more special for him.

Season 4 has been praised for staying loyal to the original story while still feeling cinematic and fresh. Fans can now stream Part 1 on Netflix, with Part 2 set to premiere on February 26.

With emotional scenes, beautiful locations, and strong performances, Season 4 continues to prove why Bridgerton remains one of Netflix’s biggest hits.
