Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Lioness’ Season 3 Filming Update Brings New Details for Fans

Fans of Taylor Sheridan’s hit spy drama are finally getting fresh news about Season 3 of Lioness. The action-packed series, which streams on Paramount+, is still filming — and production is expected to continue into mid-March.

Lioness first premiered in 2023 and quickly built a strong fan base. Season 2 followed in 2024, and after a short wait, the show was officially renewed for a third season. As per Collider reports, new casting calls confirm that filming is still underway, meaning fans may need to wait a bit longer before the next chapter arrives.

The series follows a secret CIA program and stars Zoe Saldaña as Joe McNamara. Zoe Saldaña leads a powerful cast in this tense spy thriller created by Taylor Sheridan. Sheridan is also known for creating the popular Western drama Yellowstone, which helped make him one of TV’s biggest producers.

While fans wait for Lioness to wrap filming, Sheridan has other big projects on the way. A new spinoff called Marshals is set to premiere soon, followed by another series titled The Madison. Both shows expand the world connected to Yellowstone, showing just how busy Sheridan’s production schedule has become.

Even though Lioness Season 3 has not announced an official release date yet, filming progress is a good sign. Since production began in October and is still ongoing, a late 2026 or early 2027 release could be possible.

For now, viewers can rewatch the first two seasons of Lioness on Paramount+ while waiting for more updates. With intense missions, strong characters, and real-world tension, Season 3 is shaping up to be another exciting chapter in this growing spy thriller story.
