Netflix’s hit crime drama “Untamed” is officially back in action. Season 2 has started filming in Hawaii, bringing fresh mystery and new faces to the popular series.
Untamed stars Eric Bana as a special agent who investigates strange and dangerous cases. In Season 1, his character worked on a mysterious death inside Yosemite National Park. Now in Season 2, the story moves to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where another shocking killing takes place.
According to the Hawaii News Now info, Filming began with a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony, a respectful way to mark the start of production. Josh Green shared photos from the event and welcomed the cast and crew to the islands. He was joined by actor Eric Bana and filmmaker John Wells.
Governor Green said that productions like this are important because they support local crews, small businesses, and working families. Big projects like “Untamed” help grow Hawaii’s film industry and create jobs across the state.
Several local actors are also joining the show this season. Kekoa Kekumano, Matthew Keoni Sato, Moronai Kanekoa, and Kelly Hu will appear in recurring roles. Their addition brings authentic Hawaiian talent to the screen.
Although Netflix has not yet announced a release date, fans can expect more updates as filming continues. With a new location, a new mystery, and a strong cast, Season 2 of “Untamed” promises more suspense and drama.
For now, viewers can revisit Season 1 on Netflix while waiting for the next thrilling chapter.
