The main house on the ranch is a Victorian-style home built in 1986, and there is also a guesthouse with a garage. The land includes many trails for horseback riding, clear views of the Manzano and Sandia Mountains, and the Galisteo River flows through it. One special feature is the old church ruins linked to Bishop John Lamy, which are still visible on the property. There is also a large mountain called Cerro Colorado standing on the ranch, making it even more dramatic and beautiful.

Because of these natural and historical features, many filmmakers love using this ranch. It has been used in other movie productions too.
