Tom Schwartz is starting a new chapter in his TV career. At BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, the reality star shared how it felt to film Season 3 of The Valley without longtime friend Tom Sandoval by his side.
Schwartz told fans that filming this season felt free and refreshing. He said it helped him build his own identity. He made it clear that this was not meant as an insult. He still cares about Sandoval. But for the first time in years, he felt like he was not following anyone else’s lead.
Schwartz is best known from the reality-TV show Vanderpump Rules, where he filmed for more than ten years. During that time, he often appeared with Sandoval. The two even owned bars together in Los Angeles. One of them was TomTom, which they ran with Lisa Vanderpump. Another bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, closed in 2024.
Now, things feel different. Season 3 of The Valley will be Schwartz’s first season as a full-time cast member. He said the cast welcomed him warmly. He joked that he felt like an “old rescue dog” who finally found a new home. That feeling made filming easier and more fun.
Schwartz also talked about his personal life during the panel. He shared sweet words about his girlfriend, Kiana Carroll. He admitted he may have spoken too openly on stage, but he confirmed that he is in love. He said love feels exciting, but also a little scary.
Even though Sandoval is not filming with him, Schwartz said their bond is still strong. He called Sandoval family and said that love does not just disappear.
With The Valley Season 3 on the way, Tom Schwartz is ready to stand on his own. Fans will see him more confident, more open, and fully in the spotlight.
