The Joker Stairs are a public staircase along West 167th Street in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, New York, between Shakespeare and Anderson Avenues. They became a film tourism draw after appearing in Joker (2019).
According to Wikipedia, residents complained about crowds and selfie sticks, and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez asked visitors to stay away. If you go, keep noise down and respect the people who live along the stairs.
