According to What’s on Netflix, Aroussi has been cast in the role of Lord Swallow in the upcoming season. Early behind-the-scenes photos from the Bridgerton Season 5 set had already given eagle-eyed fans a first glimpse of the actor before the official confirmation came through.
Aroussi is a trained British actor with a background from both the Identity School of Acting and The Unseen Acting School. While he may be a newer name to many viewers, Bridgerton is set to give him a major spotlight on a global stage.
His recent and upcoming film credits include Close Personal Friends (2025), an Amazon MGM Studios feature directed by Jason Orley, where he plays an EMT. He also has a role as Lincoln in the upcoming film The Reformation of Sister Edith (2026) from Intake Films and Humble Priory. Earlier short film work includes Jake Goes on a Date (2024) and Bullman (2024), directed by Rebecca England.
As for Lord Swallow, details about the character remain tightly under wraps — which is very typical of Shondaland’s notoriously secretive productions. No official plot details have been shared. However, whenever a new “Lord” enters the ton on Bridgerton, it usually means one of three things — a suitor looking for love, a rival to one of the Bridgerton siblings, or a fresh player in Lady Whistledown’s social world.
